2. John P DUNCAN (William T) was born on 12 Dec 1810 in Russellville, Logan County, KY. He died in Oct 1867.

John P. moved from KY to Hamburg, ARK where it is said he bought a tannery. His brother James b. 1822 was working there. Family legend has it that when they moved to TX he returned to ARK to settle some business and was never heard from. Speculation is that he died from yellow fever or was attacked and killed by outlaws. His wife, Chloe Harper went to look for him and when she returned home found that her youngest child, Emma, had died from burns.

He was a Methodist minister and taught school in the Chin'a Chapel area in Denton County.

Daniel married Jesse E. WOOD in 1885. Jesse was born on 21 Jan 1868 in Plymouth, England. She died on 20 Jan 1931. She was buried in Furneaux Cemetery, Denton County, TX.

She entered the U.S. with her parents in 1877. Both she and her father died in the old two-story house

at 1819 Denton Dr., Carrollton, TX.
