On Wednesday afternoon, Jan 6, 1909, at 3:30, at the home
of the bride's father, Mr. G.W. Karr, on
Some fifty guests were present at the wedding and the home was very beautifully decorated with smilax and carnations, the color scheme being green and white.
The ceremony which was performed in the parlor of the
home by Rev. S. Elwood Fisher, pastor of the First Christion
church, was a very beautiful and impressive one. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Fred Hoebel of
While Mr. Lee Ireland played Loehngrin's wedding march, the officiating clergyman and the groom and his attendant descended the front stairway and took their places in the parlor. Here they wree met by the bride and her attendants who descended the rear stairway of the home, making their way to the parlor through lines of ribbon stretched by the Misses Millie Ireland, Lorene Wilson, Marguerite Clark and Merrie Mills. The brike looked very beautiful indeed in a gown of white batiste, while the groom appeared at his best in a suit of black.
Immediately after the ceremony and congratulations the
company was served with a four-course lap dinner, the cateress being Mrs. Rushman, of

Many very beautiful wedding presents were received, consistingof cut glass, silverware, table linen and other articles useful for the home. The gifts also included a check for %500 from the bride's father.
