He married Catherine Cloe
"Cate" Cole in Morgan District,
Lincoln Co, NC, ca1780.
Catherine was born in Goochland Co,
VA May 2, 1755. Catherine was the
daughter of James Cole (Capt.) and Mary
Wills. Catherine died ca1833 in Dixon Springs, Smith Co, TN, at 78 years
of age.

was born in Morgan District, Lincoln Co, NC ca 1791. Elijah died August 31, 1852 in Franklin, Holt Co, MO, at 61
years of age.
He married Sarah
Tinney in Dixon Springs, Smith Co,
TN, August 1, 1816.
Sarah was born 1792. Sarah died 1891 in Lebanon, Oregon, at 99 years of age. Her
body was interred 1891 in Lebanon, Oregon, Ballinger Cemetery.
